How it works
The full process, start to finish, with no steps left out.
We think a consumer should be able to read one page and understand exactly what this website does, who gets their information, and who is paying whom. That page is this one.
Step by step
You arrive
Usually from an advertisement we paid for, or from a search result. Adcentral, LLC buys advertising to bring visitors to this site. That advertising spend is a cost of our business, not a cost to you.
You read
The material here is general and educational. It is not personalized, it is not advice, and it does not account for your age, health, state, budget, or circumstances. Reading it obligates you to nothing.
You choose
If — and only if — you decide you want to be contacted, you can ask to be connected with an independent third-party partner. Nothing happens automatically. Doing nothing is always an option.
We refer
We pass your stated interest and the contact details you provided to one or more partners in our network. That is the entire extent of our involvement. We do not evaluate you, price anything, or decide anything.
The partner takes over
A licensed third party contacts you directly. Any quote, application, underwriting, approval, denial, policy, price, term, exclusion, or service comes from them under their own license and their own privacy policy.
We get paid
The partner pays Adcentral, LLC an advertising or referral fee. You are never billed, charged, or marked up. Our fee is paid by the partner and does not change what the partner offers you.
Where our role ends
Our role ends at step four. We want to be specific about what that means, because the line is easy to blur and a lot of websites blur it.
- We do not quote. Any number you are given comes from a licensed company, not from us.
- We do not underwrite. We make no assessment of your health, eligibility, or risk.
- We do not approve or deny anyone. We have no authority to do so.
- We do not issue, service, or administer policies. We hold no policies and pay no claims.
- We do not advise. We will not tell you what to buy, how much to buy, or whether a product suits you.
- We do not control our partners. They are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing and conduct.
A word on why the distinction matters. Consumers researching these topics are often making decisions for their families, sometimes under stress. Being clear that we are an advertiser rather than a provider is the minimum we owe them — before they give anyone their phone number.
What we do with your information
If you ask to be connected with a partner, the information you provide is transmitted to one or more partners so they can contact you. Once transmitted, that partner's privacy policy governs its use of your information, and you should review it. We may also retain a record of the referral for our own business, compliance, and accounting purposes.
Our complete practices — what we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have to access, delete, correct, or opt out — are set out in our Privacy Policy.
How to stop hearing from a partner
If a partner contacts you and you would rather they did not, you can tell them directly to stop, and they are obligated to honor that request. You may also write to us at contact@lastinglegacylife.com and we will pass along your request and suppress your information within our own systems. Consent to be contacted is never a condition of purchasing anything.
